Local Repetition Engineering Identity - Parish Engineering, Gains Productivity Benefits from New Vision-Based Measurement System
Is Parish engineering the oldest remaining repetition engineering business in Victoria?
This is the question that was posed to us recently when we visited Parish to talk about their business and their latest acquisition - a vision-based measuring system from Hi-Tech Metrology.
Last week we met with Graeme Sinclair, the director of engineering of Parish Engineering at their Moorabbin facilities in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, to talk about their business and to see how their latest acquisition - a Micro-Vu video based measuring system was performing after the first six-months of operation.
New Romer Absolute Arm Calibration Service - Fast Response and Rapid Turnaround
Hi-Tech Metrology is pleased to be able to announce that as from 1st February 2012 we will be providing local calibration of the new Romer Absolute range of portable arms and Multi-Gage products at our Melbourne head-office facility.
As many of us know, other brands of portable measuring arms have to go back overseas for calibration which is not only expensive but also leaves customers without their valuable portable CMM equipment for weeks or months at a time. But now, with the local service offered by Hi-Tech Metrology, clients will be able to pre-plan their calibration and see only minimal disruption to their production activities whilst the Arm is being calibrated and serviced locally - saving both time and money!
This is an Australian first for the latest generation of portable measuring arms as we are able to offer local calibration for these very popular Romer arms - with a super fast 2-3 day turnaround time.
PolyWorks V12 Webinars
During the week of 6-10th February we are pleased to be hosting a visit from senior applications specialist, Jean-Sebastien Blais from Canadian PolyWorks developer - InnovMetric Software Inc. for a series of internal training programs and 30 minute Webinars covering the features, benefits and new functionality available in PolyWorks V12.
