Micro-Vu Vertex aids Redmond Repetition export success
Redmond Repetition Engineers was started almost 30-years ago in June 1981 by local business identity John Redmond in his suburban Melbourne back-yard and has now grown to become a TS 16149 certified business employing 38 people across two shifts in their modern and purpose-built 4,000 square metre facility.
Late last year John Redmond saw the need to invest in the latest vision-based dimensional metrology product, the Micro-Vu Vertex, in order to assure the quality of their aerospace components about to be sent overseas for critical defence and government contracts.

New Alicona InfiniteFocus Portable
As the Australian and New Zealand distributor for the complete range of imaging products from leading Austrian-producer Alicona Imaging GmbH, Hi-Tech Metrology is pleased to announce the release of a new portable infinite focus measurement system - the IF-Portable.
Using the principle of focus variation the Infinite Focus Portable is a robust and mobile optical system to measure both the form and roughness of larger surfaces. It can be used by semi-skilled personnel in production areas to measure both flat and curved surfaces with just one of its key applications being inspection of industrial print rollers.
