Issue 5 '10
In this edition of our newsletter we are inviting you to attend a special industry event - the release of new optical metrology technologies into the Australian market.
We will be holding open house displays in our Hallam showroom on July 12, 13 & 14 from 3:00 - 8:00pm where our experienced engineers will be demonstrating newly released innovations from NDI, Metronor and InspecVision.
See all three of these technologies in the one location and also use the opportunity to spend time talking to our applications engineers about your particular measurement challanges.
Bookings are essential and numbers limited so RSVP by July 7 to Nicole on 03 9702 3911 or nmartin@hitechmetrology.com.au and reserve your place.
Metronor DUO
The Metronor DUO system uses CCD camera technology and embedded LEDs in a carbon-fibre wand to measure objects in 3D space. The long carbon-fibre wand allows users to measure difficult to reach locations and where "line-of-sight" issues may occur. Read more...
NDI ScanTrak
ScanTrak from Northern Digital Inc combines an Optical Tracker using three CCD cameras to 'track' a Perceptron V5 laser scanning probe with a system of built-in LEDs. The laser scanning system collects 458,400 points per second allowing rapid and highly detailed surface data to be collected. Read more...
InspecVision Opti-Probe
InspecVision's Opti-Probe system is the next generation in Optical CMM technology utilising a single visible light camera to 'track' a wireless probe with photogrammetry targets attached. Read more...
