Austech 2012 Preview
Hi-Tech Metrology will again be exhibiting at AUSTECH this year being held at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park from 8-11th May 2012.
Our stand C050 is located in the main “dome” of the Showgrounds facility giving us a prominent position to exhibit the latest in the world of metrology and reverse engineering technologies.
Being featured are two CMMs in action, Brown & Sharpe Global 7.10.7 and Sheffield Discovery Series III, showing how this type of equipment can measure multiple parts efficiently and how complex parts such as helical gears that are so prevalent in the mining and power transmission sectors can be easily checked with the latest PC-DMIS Gear software.
Our portable zone on the Stand will feature the new Romer Absolute portable measuring Arms - both the very popular SI arm with its integrated laser scanner as well as the SE arm with a V5 Perceptron laser scanner - the ultimate scanner for scanning difficult applications such as shinny surfaces and chrome etc. See the Harley Fat Boy motorcycle being laser scanned on our Stand this year.
The very popular Micro-Vu Vertex machine will also feature on the Hi-Tech Metrology stand at Austech this year, showing visitors how this very flexible and versatile piece of equipment can measure a myriad of parts including plastic moulding, gasket rubber and flexible parts - and even complex parts such a printed circuit boards accurately and efficiently. Our applications team will be on hand to talk to you about how you can measure your parts on a Micro-Vu machine - for the ultimate in measurement efficiency.
We will have a full team of our application engineering staff on the Stand ready to answer your technical question regarding measurement or reverse engineering and able to demonstrate how our equipment and software packages can improve your measurement efficiency or fast-track your reverse engineering or modelling tasks.
